Connect your first source

ACE ingests from the Federal Register and any RSS/Atom feed a regulator publishes — or you can enter regulations manually. This guide walks you through adding the first source for your workspace.

Before you start

Steps

  1. Open Sources in the left sidebar and click + Add Source.
  2. Fill in a name, jurisdiction, and source type, then pick a Connector:
    • Federal Register — auto-ingests from federalregister.gov. It is preselected automatically when your jurisdiction is US Federal.
    • RSS / Atom feed — paste any public https feed URL and ACE polls it on schedule.
    • Manual entry — no connector; you add regulations by hand from the Risks page.
  3. Click Add Source. Use Poll sources now to trigger ingestion immediately instead of waiting for the next scheduled poll.
  4. Ingested regulations appear on the Risk Assessment page with a risk score. You can also add a regulation manually there with + Add regulation.

What you should see

Each regulation carries its risk score (a number 0–100 plus a tier: Critical, High, Medium, Low) derived from your workspace profile. Run gap analysis on it to extract requirements, or start reviewing them directly.
