Connect your first source

ACE pulls from state insurance departments, NAIC model bulletins, federal registers, and a set of international jurisdictions. This guide walks you through connecting the first source for your workspace.

Before you start

Steps

  1. Open Sources in the left sidebar. The catalog opens to your default jurisdiction set.
  2. Browse or filter by Regulator type (e.g. State Insurance Department, NAIC Bulletin, Federal Register). Each card shows the source's refresh interval and a sample of recent items.
  3. Click Add to workspace on the source you want. ACE will start ingesting within one refresh cycle.
  4. (Optional) Set a notification rule on the source: choose which risk tiers trigger an email or Slack alert, and which roles receive it.
  5. When the first batch lands, you will see a toast and a counter increment on the Sources page. Click the source to open its feed.

What you should see

Within one refresh cycle, your source's feed shows recent items. Each item carries its risk score (a number 0–100 plus a tier: Critical, High, Medium, Low) and a short summary. If you see only a few items on first load, the source may be on a longer interval — the timestamp at the top of the feed shows the next refresh.
